Here’s a look at what’s happening in Philly near Crane this August 2022.

2nd Street Festival – August 7

Prepare yourself to join more than 40,000 partiers at Northern Liberties’ annual 2nd Street Festival. From noon to 9 p.m. August 7, 2022, more than 100 merchants, bars, restaurants, dancers, musicians and other performers party throughout the day between Spring Garden Street and Girard Avenue.

Founded in 2008 by local business owners, the 2nd St. Festival has become one of the largest in the city and is always held on the first Sunday of August.

BlackStar Film Festival – August 3-7

Celebrate Black film this August 3 through 7, BlackStar will shine its annual spotlight on the visual and storytelling tradition of African diaspora and of global indigenous communities with a showcasing of films by Black, Brown and Indigenous artists not only from Philly, but around the world.

Throughout the festival, a series of in-person and virtual events will host feature-length and short films, along with panels, parties and more with a focus on the modern day Black and African American experience.

Le Dîner en Blanc – August 18

If you’ve always wanted to be a part of one of the fanciest themed dinner parties in the city, here’s your chance! Le Dîner en Blanc is set to return to Philadelphia this August 18, 2022.
